Target Population: All staff who will work with Safeguarding Vulnerable Adult
Course duration: Theory = 6 Hours
Certification: Upon successful completion of the session and assessment.
No. of Participants: 10 Maximum

Students must interact and participate during the session as the session is interactive using workbooks and multimedia.

Due to the immense difficulties encountered in meeting our statutory obligation to provide safeguarding vulnerable adult training, this training session has been prepared to ensure that all staff are fully up-to-date with regard to their responsibilities.

 Aim & Objectives

The Aim of the session is to provide participants with knowledge of their role and responsibilities when safeguarding vulnerable adults.

At the end of this session participants will be able to:

  • Understand what is meant by the term vulnerable adults
  • Know the forms abuse may take
  • Recognise signs and symptoms
  • Know what to do and what not to do
